It was 2 o'clock in the morning, and my girlfriend Sophie had just called me fifteen minutes earlier, saying she had something important to say and was coming over. Sophie and I went to the same school. She was the new girl in town that no body talked to, and I was the loser that nobody knew existed. We became friends somehow. We would eat lunch together, and talk for hours on the phone. After a while, we got closer and closer, and it was natural that we started going out.
